KCP Physical Therapy is small enough to give you the personal treatment you deserve, yet versatile enough to offer a wide variety of therapy programs for all of your wellness needs, all in a new state of the art 2,600 square foot facility. Located in south Charlotte, KCP Physical Therapy has been motivating healthy lifestyles for more than 10 years.

KCP Physical Therapy was created in response to patient needs in this ever-changing health care environment. In traditional settings where productivity is the emphasis, KCP is unique. Our emphasis is on the patient. We believe in one-on-one treatment with hands-on care by a licensed physical therapist. Our goal is to meet our client's goals, be it return to work, play golf or tennis, or maybe just a walk to the mailbox. |

Executive Team
Joy Pfuhl, PT
President, Owner
Joy has over 17 years experience in physical therapy. Prior to opening KCP, Joy was a Regional Director of Operations with a national rehabilitation company, where she managed 20 outpatient clinics and hospital contracts. During this time she continued her clinical care and education, focusing on manual therapy course work. She has since successfully completed over 17 post graduate manual therapy and orthopedic courses and has worked at Duke University Hospital. Joy graduated with honors with a Masters in Physical Therapy and has a BS from the University of Iowa. Joy actively supports and is a fund raiser for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. |

Joyce Kight, PT
Vice President, Owner
Joyce has over 15 years of experience in physical therapy, with expertise in orthopedics and sports medicine. She previously worked with a national rehabilitation company where she was awarded a Clinical Fellowship for Excellence in Clinical Care and Customer Service. She was also a Clinician of the Year nominee for the Southeast Division. Joyce's educational background includes a Degree in Biology, Athletic Training, and Secondary Education. She also graduated cum laude from The Ohio University with a BS in Physical Therapy. In addition, she has successfully completed 22 post graduate courses in orthopedic manual therapy, the spine, pelvis and women's health. |
